Donal,
I know you’ve bought new house and are now decorating & painting it. Mom mentioned the other day that she had picked out a nice blue for the little boys and that Brenna’s painting was almost done but that’s all I’ve heard about it. What colors have you and Brenna chosen? Do you guys like your new yard. Do your bedrooms give your imaginations room to stretch a bit? You guys have such great ideas for decorating and making your spaces homey. Hope you guys really are happy with the new house.

Ever think of naming these critters? Those two who were staring at you from your bed post were probably wondering when you would leave and let them have their space!
We were spray painting something once (NOW DON’T DO THIS AT HOME!) and accidentaly hit some sort of critter. I think they were lizards and several times in the next week, we saw these strange, bright blue lizards!

Donnal, I grew up being the new kid in town. In one town, I was GLAD to leave, because I only had friends at church, and they weren’t friendly anywhere else. Fortunately our next home was among people whom I truly loved, and who lived me. (I’m going to see one of them in April.)
Right now, I only have a few close friends, but it took me a long time to realize that even popular people may not have actual friends. And I only need one or two persons who are really close.
I think I believed that being popular was having friends, but that is totally off the mark. Popularity only rides on the crest of how others see you.
Guess what! I’m married to my best friend. And he loves me anyway.

I think you and Brenna have done a splendid job of adjusting to a really tough situation. Just try to remember that you won’t be living in a laundry room all your life, you won’t be the new kid forever, and God has better things in store for you than you could ever hope or think to ask for. Maybe when we move he will have your new best friend living right down the road!
